Key Responsibilities
The Project Assistant will support verification and distribution activities to ensure effective delivery of assistance to targeted beneficiaries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mobilizing beneficiaries for cash-based transfer enrollment and food distribution activities.
- Verifying beneficiary eligibility during distributions and quarterly verification exercises.
- Supporting data collection, data entry, and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
- Assisting in accountability to affected persons (AAP) activities.
- Monitoring cash-out points and supporting coordination with IT teams during distributions.
- Supporting engagement and organization of retailer groups.
- Assisting in the formation and strengthening of community financial groups such as VSLAs or SACCOs.

Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Nutrition, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in community-based programming, data management, or humanitarian assistance.
- Experience in beneficiary verification, reporting, and monitoring activities.
- Knowledge of humanitarian principles, accountability, and protection standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and community engagement skills.
